Details
Use this form to record any private driving practice you do with family or friends.
It includes practising driving:
- in the dark
- on different types of road, like country roads or dual carriageways
- in different weather conditions
You also need to practice how to plan and navigate a route.
This supports the progress you make during your driving lessons.
Check the rules about who you can practise with.
You must not drive on a motorway when you’re being supervised by someone who is not a fully-qualified approved driving instructor.
For advice about accompanying a learner driver, buy the Official DVSA Guide to Learning to Drive book.
There’s a different form for your driving instructor to record your progress in your driving lessons.
