Consultation description
The UK Government has introduced a Bill into Parliament to seek authorisation to build and operate a new high-speed railway, as part of the HS2 network, between Crewe and Manchester, with links to the West Coast Main Line to enable trains to serve stations in Scotland and the North West.
The Bill wass accompanied by an Environmental Statement that reports the environmental impacts of the planned new railway.
