The government is consulting on proposals which would make senior executives of tech companies personally liable when the rules on the sale of knives are broken.

This consultation forms part of the wider package of measures including a ban on ninja swords.

This consultation will be running in parallel with the Prohibiting ninja swords – legal description and defences consultation.
