Consultation description

The triennial reviews of SAC and ACRE will examine what they do and how they do it. It will also consider whether other delivery models would be more appropriate. Read the written ministerial statement announcing this review.

Triennial reviews are part of the government’s rolling reform programme to consider whether bodies remain fit for purpose and continue to offer value for money.

The reviews will be proportionate to the scale of both bodies.

Defra is keen to hear from people with an interest in the SAC’s and the ACRE’s activities. We want to know what you think about the organisations’ current performance, and the scope and benefits of any potential changes.
