The Leadership College for Government equips public sector and Civil Service leaders and managers the skills, knowledge and networks to solve today’s most complex problems.

We offer:

  • short and long leadership programmes and events
  • management programmes for civil servants at every grade
  • networks between Civil Service and public sector leaders who have potential for the most senior roles.

Who we are

The Leadership College for Government leads the work of the Accelerated Development Schemes, Civil Service Leadership Group, SCS Inductions and the Civil Service Leadership Academy.

We are based all over the UK, including London, Edinburgh, York, Glasgow and Manchester. Our teams travel to host events and programmes across the country.

Where did we come from?

The Leadership College for Government was launched in April 2022 and sits within the Government Skills and Curriculum Unit. The team incorporates former parts of the National Leadership Centre and CS Local.
