Alison Henwood

Biography

Alison Henwood is Executive Vice President for Shell’s global trading and supply business, an area she has worked in since 2014. Prior to this, she spent four years as the Global Controller for Shell’s finance operations, focusing on first migrating and then streamlining and operating controls.

Previous roles also include Finance Manager for Shell’s global gas, power and emissions trading business, based in Houston, and European Finance Manager for manufacturing, supply and distribution business, which includes refineries, crude and product supply, distribution terminals and transportation.

Alison has experience in key areas including treasury, risk management and audit, and leading a global finance functional team. She has a strong academic background encompassing ACT accreditation, a CIMA qualification, training at INSEAD and Harvard, and a PhD from Cambridge University.
