Erin Robinson
Biography
Erin Robinson became the Chief Operating Officer for the Government Digital Service (GDS) in January 2022. She is an experienced civil servant who has held several leadership positions in government, including at the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Justice, HM Revenue & Customs and the Department for Business and Trade (formerly known as the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills).
She brings her significant cross-functional expertise in policy, operational leadership and finance to drive operational excellence and build an inclusive and high-performing culture across GDS.
Chief Operating Officer
The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the day-to-day running and ongoing transformation of the Government Digital Service (GDS). They lead the HR, strategy and planning, communication, finance, commercial, information assurance and governance functions, and ensure the organisation is high performing and able to meet its objectives.
