Details

This remit letter updates the letter issued in 2019. It emphasises the role of the FRC in promoting the competitiveness and growth of the UK economy, and embedding its growth duty across its work, whilst fulfilling its core purpose of enhancing public trust and confidence in corporate governance.

The FRC regulates auditors, accountants and actuaries, and sets the UK’s Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes. It promotes transparency and integrity in business. Its work is aimed at investors and others who rely on company reports, audit and high-quality risk management.
