Current events

Guided walks around Shoreham Adur tidal walls flood defence scheme

Over the summer months there will be a series of walks around the Shoreham Adur tidal walls flood defence scheme. These will provide a unique opportunity to find out more about the work involved in this £32 million scheme, which will reduce the risk of flooding to thousands of properties in Shoreham.

Walks will take place on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 3 July
  • Tuesday 14 August
  • Tuesday 4 September

Walks start at 10am and last for around 2 hours. Each walk will be accompanied by members of the project team from the Environment Agency, Team Van Oord and JT Mackley.

Booking

The walk is free, but numbers are limited and booking is essential. To book a place on one of the walks, please email angela.spinks@mackley.co.uk stating the walk date, your name and details of any specific requirements.

Once booking has been completed, further details will be provided, including where to meet.
