Ambassador´s farewell reception in Chile

Over 300 guests participated in one of the Ambassador’s last activities in Chile as he will be leaving the Embassy on Friday 31st January.

Ambassador's farewell reception at the residence.

Ambassador Jon Benjamin gave a farewell party at his residence on Friday 17 January. The event was attended by politicians, Government representatives, athletes and footballers, academics and members of civil society organisations, as well as media contacts.

Over 300 guests participated in the reception – one of the Ambassador’s last activities in Chile as he will be leaving the Embassy on Friday 31st January. Appointed High Commissioner to Ghana by the British Government, Jon Benjamin will start in this new post in June 2014. He will be replaced by Mrs. Fiona Clouder, who will arrive in Chile in mid-February.
