A ground vehicle collided with EI-EGD when it was turning onto stand across the back-of-stand road the vehicle was travelling on. The vehicle driver may have experienced ‘inattentional blindness’ and may have been affected by task fatigue. The vehicle operator and airport authority both issued safety notices to airport drivers regarding safe driving practices.
