Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee Warrior II, G-BODC

Summary:

The instructor was demonstrating a short field landing in a crosswind. The aircraft encountered windshear on short finals and landed heavily on all three wheels. The nosewheel tyre burst and some damage occurred to the nose wheel assembly and engine frame.
