Rans S6-ES Coyote II, G-MZMS

Summary:

The pilot was carrying out an into-wind landing on a grass farm strip. Following a normal approach, the aircraft bounced after touchdown, and then the nose gear dug into the ground, causing the nosewheel to separate. The propeller hit the ground and the aircraft spun round to the right and came to rest. The pilot did not report the accident to the AAIB until three months after it had occurred and consequently his recall of the event was limited, and he did not know what had caused it.
