Bird flu: near Hutton Cranswick, East Yorkshire, Yorkshire (AIV 2024/01)

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed in commercial poultry on 14 February 2024.

21 March 2024: following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance within the zone, the surveillance zone has been revoked.

12 March 2024: following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance within the zone, the area that formed that protection zone becomes part of the surveillance zone.

All poultry on the premises have been humanely culled.

This revokes:
