Bird flu: near Ringstead, North Northamptonshire, Northamptonshire (AIV 2023/27)

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed in other captive birds on 29 April 2023.

Update 22 May: Following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance in the zone, the captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone has been revoked.

All birds on the premises have been humanely culled.
