Bird flu: second premises near Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, Yorkshire (AIV 2024/13)

Following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance within the zone, the 3km captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone surrounding a second premises near Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, Yorkshire (AIV 2024/13) has been revoked.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed in captive birds at a second premises near Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, Yorkshire (AIV 2024/13). A 3km captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone has been declared surrounding the premises. The affected birds on the premises will be humanely culled.

This revokes the declaration of the avian influenza captive bird (monitoring) controlled zone (PDF).
