Bird flu: second premises near Holt, Norfolk (AIV 2022/106)
Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed in commercial housed poultry on 10 October 2022.
6 April 2023: Following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance in the zone, the 10km surveillance zone has been revoked.
26 March 2023: Following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance within the zones, the 3km protection zone has ended and the area that formed the protection becomes part of the surveillance zone.
The birds on the premises have been humanely culled.
