Before you apply...

You'll need to provide copies of the following:
- Fire safety risk assessment
- Fit and proper person assessment
- Property plan
- Passport photograph of the Proposed Licence Holder
- Current gas certificate
- Copies of proof identity and address of the Proposed Licence Holder
- Copy of standard tenancy agreement
- List of other HMO licences held by the Proposed Licence Holder
- BS7671 ECA/ NICEIC/ Part P Electrical Installation Condition Report (for the entire domestic installation)
- Portable Appliance Tests for equipment supplied to the tenants
- Fire extinguisher maintenance certificate
- Emergency lighting (BS 5266 Part 1 ) and Fire Alarm and Detection certification BS 5839 Part 6/Part 1(if these are required) (optional)
- Planning consents (if applicable) (optional)
- Building Regulations Completion Certificates (if applicable) (optional)
What if I don't have electronic copies?
Photos or scans of documents are acceptable, providing the relevant information is clear.
