Apply for a refugee integration loan
Apply for a loan if you’re one of the following:
- a refugee
- you have humanitarian protection
- a dependant of a refugee or someone with humanitarian protection
You must be over 18 to use this service.
Before you apply, check what you can use the loan for and how much you can borrow.
What you’ll need
You’ll need your:
- biometric residence permit (BRP), if you have one
- Home Office reference number - you can find this on your asylum application letter
- bank account or building society details
You’ll also need to provide your National Insurance number. If you do not have one, you must apply for one at your local Jobcentre Plus before you apply for an integration loan.
If you’re making a joint application with your partner, you’ll also need their National Insurance number and BRP number (if they have one).
Before you start
If you need help with your application or filling in the form, you can contact your local refugee community organisation. You can also contact the integration loan team.
If you do not have a BRP, contact the integration loan team.
