You can ask BSR about:

Complaints about the building you live in
If you are a resident in England and want to complain about the building you live in, first raise your issue with a person accountable for building safety. For example, the building’s landlord or management company. Use this service if they have not dealt with your issue.
What you cannot use this service for
BSR cannot respond to questions or give advice about:
- compliance with the building regulations
- building control applications in England, before an application has started
- building control applications in Wales
- local authority building control in Wales
- high-rise residential buildings in Wales
Contact the Welsh Government (on GOV.WALES) about local authorities, building control applications or high-rise residential buildings in Wales.
Do not use this service to report concerns about anti-social behaviour or the general cleanliness of a building. Report these issues to your landlord or management company.
Before you start
To ask a question, BSR will ask you for:
- your contact details, or the contact details of someone acting for you, so BSR knows who to respond to
- details of your question
To complain, BSR will ask you for:
- the building address, if the complaint is about a building
- your contact details, or the contact details of someone acting for you, so BSR knows who to respond to
