Alert details

Mylan UK has informed us that a small number of packs from the above batch may have an over count or under count of one tablet (ie 29 or 31 tablets in a 30 count bottle). Investigations to date indicate that this is due to a problem with the tablet counting mechanism during packaging of this particular batch. No other batches are believed to be affected.

Pharmacists are asked to check the contents of packs from this batch prior to dispensing. If any pack is found to contain too many or too few tablets contact Mylan UK on 01707 853000, selecting option one, or email info@mylan.co.uk.

Recipients of this drug alert should bring it to the attention of relevant contacts by copy of this letter. Local area teams are asked to forward this to relevant clinics and community pharmacists for information.
