The Intelligent Transport Systems (EU Exit) Regulations 2018
This SI will revoke a number of pieces of EU legislation relating to intelligent transport systems. The legislation that will be revoked is not needed after EU exit as the intelligent transport system’s policy is implemented in the UK by administrative means.

Sifting committees’ recommendation
The European Statutory Instrument Committee agreed with the government that this statutory instrument does not have to have a debate in parliament, though one may still occur. However, the Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee disagreed with the government and recommended that this statutory instrument needs to be debated in parliament.
The government withdrew this statutory instrument from consideration.
