Call to run a project covering two areas of activity (1) to support unemployed and inactive residents into work and (2) to narrow employment and unemployment rate gaps within particular groups : females, black and ethnic minorities and people with disabilities.

Details
This Call seeks proposals for projects to the value of approximately £8.5m, designed to provide support to and increase the employability of specific groups (including bespoke support for, both, males and females). Project proposals should reflect how they will support a specific target group; these are expected to include:
- people with learning difficulties and disabilities;
- people without English, Maths, IT qualifications at Level 2;
- people from black and ethnic minority backgrounds;
- people returning to the labour market following parental or caring responsibilities; and
- people with experience of the care system.
Applications are encouraged from consortia or other similar types of partnership arrangements. In each such case the application must be submitted by a lead organisation on behalf of the partnership/consortia and the lead applicant must have the financial capacity to meet the required Due Diligence criteria.
The preference is to make one funding award for each of the two areas of activity.

Value
Approximately £8.5m of funding is available.
Deadlines
Full application deadline: 12th March 2019
Completion date
The project must be completed no later than 3 years and 6 months after the proposed start date.
