CLOSED: Access to Employment – Liverpool City Region (OC22S21P1821)
Call to run a project to address the needs of unemployed people who have been especially impacted by COVID-19 with tailored, targeted one-to-one support and wrap-around services.
This call is now closed. Please do not submit an application for this call. The information provided is for reference purposes only.
Details
The call particularly addresses the need to support large numbers of unemployed people who will be joined by new entrants to the labour market fresh from education, and very often other recently unemployed people with demonstrable skill sets and experience.
The additional funding will see unemployed people, who have been especially impacted by COVID-19 with tailored, targeted one-to-one support to wrap-around services, in ways that aids recovery by:
-
Providing individual targeted support to unemployed people to help them identify, prepare for, and secure employment opportunities.
-
Working closely with local employers and skills providers, aligning support to vacancies and skills shortages.
This support should be bespoke, personalised and flexible, meeting the needs of adults. It would be expected that this would target support on those residents who need additional support for a range of reasons, to include those with health conditions, carers, single parents or those who have been out of work for a long time. This would promote a range of options to help adults into work, to include information, advice and guidance, volunteering, work experience and additional training, and would need to be integrated with other support packages in place.
