CLOSED: Helping unemployed and economically inactive people into work in Cheshire and Warrington (OC03S18P1124)
Call to run a project which supports people to reskill and retrain in response to local employment opportunities in the Cheshire and Warrington LEP area.
This call is now closed. Please do not submit an application for this call. The information provided on this page is for reference purposes only.
Details
Applications are encouraged from consortia or other similar types of partnership arrangements to deliver holistic packages of support which will identify and tackle the barriers individuals face in moving into work (for example: confidence, lack of recent work experience, basic skills, job-related skills, job-seeking skills, or other material barriers such as childcare, language or debt).
Applicants must work in partnership to add value to, but not compete with, other provision, including providing a complementary offer for those not accessing the Work and Health Programme. Applicants will be expected to evidence linkages with key stakeholders, a strong understanding of local needs and priorities, and to demonstrate how they will work collaboratively with other local providers to identify the most appropriate pathway for participants and to avoid confusion and proliferation in the market place.
Project activity must be easily accessible across the whole sub-region and therefore take account of the mixed geography of Cheshire and Warrington.
