Details
During the last decade progress has been made in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly in increasing the participation rates and up skilling of the population to NVQ4+. Despite these improvements Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly still lag behind the national average.
ESF will be used to develop and deliver a range of activities to support those least likely to enter Higher Education (HE).
Focus of activity will be to provide tailored support to participants that both raise their aspirations and awareness of opportunities whilst delivering activities that will prepare learners in order to enhance progression and achievement rates specifically targeting disadvantaged neighbourhoods and individuals in under-represented groups.
There is an expectation that the successful provider will align the opportunities offered in this call to the skills needs identified by businesses.
