Export pork, beef, mutton meat and offal slaughtered in the UK, excluding products and preparations, to Hong Kong: certificate 8000

Apply online to export raw beef, lamb, mutton and pork to Hong Kong (for meat derived from animals slaughtered in the UK and bearing the UK oval mark).

This export health certificate (EHC) is only for meat slaughtered in the UK. For meat slaughtered in the Republic of Ireland use DEC 8000, Export pork, beef, mutton meat and offal slaughtered in the Republic of Ireland, excluding products and preparations, to Hong Kong. For more information, call APHA on 03000 200 301.

For users of this EHC, a new Hong Kong enforced premises-based approval system came into force on 1st January 2024. Any establishments involved in the export to Hong Kong of beef, lamb, pork and poultry meat, and their products, must be specifically listed for the applicable commodities and functions by the authorities in Hong Kong in advance of the arrival of consignments. Exporters must ensure that all slaughter, cutting, processing and storage premises are included on the list, for the applicable commodities and functions, at https://www.ftp.cfs.gov.hk//web/establishment/apprEstablishmentEnquiry?lang=en_GB. If any establishments are not listed, exporters can contact exports@apha.gov.uk to be given details on how to be added to the list.
