1. Application to change a licence for a house in multiple occupation
If you rent out a property as a house in multiple occupation (HMO), you may require a licence from your local authority. This licence is not required if the property is occupied by less than five occupiers. We do not charge existing licence holders to vary a licence. However any new owner must apply for a new HMO licence, they cannot be transferred.
