You must notify the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) if you intend to import seed potatoes into Northern Ireland.

You must do this for all seed potatoes imported from outside Northern Ireland, including Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.

Your notification form must be received by DAERA at least 48 hours before the importation. You must send a new notification form for each importation.

You should send your completed notification form to DAERA.

Conditions

A portion of your imports will be inspected and sampled. You won’t be charged for this.
