Details

This report was produced by The Centre for Energy Advancement through Technological Innovation’s (CEATI’s) Dam Safety Interest Group (DSIG). It summarises best practice guidelines for dam safety performance monitoring programmes. It’s based on the experience of people who are actively involved in this field and a review of recent publications.

The objective of this report is to note and bring together good examples of dam surveillance (inspection and instrumentation) and data collection (analysis, management and interpretation) in order to improve dam performance and maintenance.

This project was started in July 2009 and completed in April 2014.
