Details

This framework for coastal research, development and dissemination (CoRDDi) sets out research priorities to improve flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM).

This framework aims to boost collaboration between researchers and organisations working in flood and coastal science. This includes those responsible for managing flood and coastal erosion risks along our coastlines. It aims to boost local participation in decisions and the measures adopted to protect or manage the coastline.

The framework is being promoted through the joint Environment Agency and Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) FCERM R&D Programme. It forms one of the detailed research frameworks within the Living with Environmental Change (LWEC) UK FCERM Research Strategy.

This project ran from 2009 to 2013.
