Details
This project aimed to develop and test toolkits for Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs) to use to assess their performance against an agreed set of performance indicators. It built on previous research that identified a long list of potential indicator areas IDBs could use to demonstrate the value they provide to be more accountable.
The first part of the research trialled the performance indicators with a sample of IDBs and then rolled them out across the sector. This was to make sure they were fit for purpose and that the IDBs recognised their benefits. The second part of the research trialled the beneficiaries spreadsheet element of the toolkit. This was to make sure that IDBs felt confident using it and recognised its benefits.
This project was started in January 2013 and completed in August 2014.
