Details

The research of the physical, geological and morphological processes in rivers and coastal areas is vitally important.

We set up this project to make sure that the research programme for fluvial, estuary and coastal processes:

  • developed technically feasible, sustainable and environmentally acceptable flood and coastal defence schemes
  • had wide support within the flood and coastal defence community

The project started in 2003 and was completed in 2005 at a cost of £315,243.
