Details

This project reviewed the current understanding and geomorphological concepts related to how estuaries behave in the medium (month to year) to long-term (decades). It then developed a framework for Expert Geomorphological Assessment (EGA) to improve the quality and effectiveness of this type of analysis.

The report discusses the relevant scales to be considered, issues around forming a conceptual model based on data and understanding, and how to apply predictive models.

The project started in 2004 and was completed in 2005.
