Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) can deliver a wide range of environmental benefits. The SuDS Manual contains guidance based on evidence for professionals working with drainage, to help them use SuDS.

The previous version of the manual was produced in 2007. This project updated the 2007 version with the latest evidence and a more user-friendly layout.

The manual was co-funded by many of the organisations involved in the SuDS industry, and published by CIRIA.

This project started in 2013 and was completed in 2015.
