Call for evidence description

The Government announced over £1billion of investment in the Autumn Statement 2016 to boost the UK’s digital infrastructure.

This investment will deliver even faster and more reliable broadband for homes and businesses across the UK. It is our intention that this investment will be delivered in partnership with local areas, prioritising funding for new full fibre business connections. To develop these proposals, we are now publishing a Call for Evidence on approaches to local full fibre networks delivery.
