Call for evidence description

The first part of this document sets out the feedback the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) received to the consultation on the proposal to resolve the small pots issue. The document sets out the government response in respect of the proposed framework and next steps, considering the feedback received.

The second part of this document is a call for evidence seeking evidence and views on a long-term vision for workplace pension saving in the UK. We want to explore whether a lifetime provider model would improve outcomes for savers, how we can grow the Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) market, and whether there are synergies between the two.

We also welcome views on possible alternative long-term visions we could set out, and what the evidence shows in regard to this.
