The outcomes of this consultation we’re incorporated into the ‘Maritime growth study: keeping the UK competitive in a global market’ released September 2015.
A report summarising the evidence contributed by stakeholders to the call for evidence to the maritime growth study has now been published. The report is divided into the 3 workstrands of:
- written submissions
- interviews
- workshops
The responses to each question have been analysed to capture the main points and to assess issues identified by stakeholders.

The Department for Transport is calling for contributions to the evidence gathering that will inform its maritime growth study. The study’s purpose is to consider the opportunities and challenges that the UK faces in maintaining and enhancing its position as a leading maritime centre.
