Call for evidence description
The NPQ frameworks are designed to support the professional development of teachers and leaders. The department is reviewing the frameworks to ensure they are based on the best available evidence and best-practice of teaching and leadership in education.
This call for evidence is seeking research that may inform changes to the following frameworks:
We will launch a separate call for evidence for the remaining NPQs in future.
Evidence submitted will be considered by the department and the Education Endowment Foundation. The department will publish a response with next steps when completed.
