Call for evidence description

On 28 January 2015 the RHI launched a call for evidence is to seek information and evidence to inform the development of policy to amend regulations to allow additional financing options into the domestic renewable heat incentive (RHI). The precise nature of the policy will depend on the nature of the responses received to this call for evidence, in addition to other inputs from government, industry and other stakeholders.

There are also a small number of questions on the non-domestic RHI, seeking initial views on whether there is a case for making any similar changes to the non-domestic scheme. A consultation would take place before any changes were made to the non-domestic scheme.
