£14.8 million has been awarded to Boston Borough Council from the Levelling Up Fund for The Rosegarth Square Masterplan. The funds will kick start regeneration in Boston and create further investment into the town centre.

A new public park

A primary feature of the Rosegarth Square Masterplan plan includes the creation of new public park which will stretch from the River Witham to the Len Medlock Centre. The area will be transformed providing a fresh, inviting and accessible new space for people to enjoy. It will include:

  • new green spaces
  • improved pedestrian routes
  • new artwork

Further regeneration of Boston

Other projects being supported by the Levelling Up Fund include:

  • works to convert Crown House which will provide a mix of residential and other uses, creating a place to support young people and families in the local area
  • demolition of the derelict B&M building to pave the way for future development of the area
