Almost £11 million for Dagenham Heathway (Levelling Up Fund 2)

Over £10.8 million from the Levelling Up Fund will generate new affordable homes, safeguard jobs and improve Dagenham Heathway.

New affordable homes

Levelling Up funding will support a strategic development opportunity to the land on Dagenham Heathway. This will make the area suitable for a new housing development that will provide 316 affordable new homes and space for businesses.

The future development will create a new vibrant community, repurposing a failing shopping centre and repairing the land to replace poor-quality housing with better, more affordable homes.
