Almost £125,000 to redevelop Visitor Information Centre in Stirling

Almost £125,000 was allocated to redevelop the Callander Visitor Information Centre in Stirling. The funding will support the refurbishment of the building.

A permanent home for the centre

In 2021, the derelict high street bank was purchased to give the volunteer-run Visitor Information Centre a permanent home. The Community Ownership Funding will help transform the building into a working space.

A boost for the local area

The refurbishment will give the Visitor Information Centre a valuable base on the high street. It will also boost local tourism in the areas of:

  • Trossachs National Park
  • Loch Lomond
