Over £12 million allocation for new leisure centre in Halifax

Over £12 million was allocated to Calderdale from the Levelling Up Fund to develop a new leisure centre in Halifax.

• provide Calderdale residents with new leisure facilities
• replace two aging facilities within one existing site
• support the council’s ambitions to cut carbon emissions
