Over £120,000 funding for Mind in Bexley

£120,550 was allocated to Mind in Bexley and East Kent Ltd in Canterbury in December 2022 from the UK Community Ownership Fund.

Mind in Bexley and East Kent Ltd is a leading community mental health charity organisation affiliated to National Mind.

With this funding the organisation aims to create a sustainable community café and mental health hub called Revival Food and Mood for local Canterbury and Thanet residents. Mind in Bexley will re-home a community heritage asset, a former shop, which has been empty and neglected for over 4 years.

This funding will transform the heritage asset into a repaired, renovated, secure and sustainable community hub within the Canterbury and Thanet district.
