Census output area data on workless benefit claimants: 2015
Number of people by area claiming Jobseeker's Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support and other income-related benefits.
Census output areas are geographical areas that contain between 80 and 150 households.
We’ve suspended publishing census output area data on workless benefit claimants. This is because Universal Credit is replacing the income-related benefits covered in census output area data but is not currently included in the methodology.
We published the final census output area data in February 2016 (data to August 2015).
