Data Maturity Assessment and Management for Government supports public sector organisations to measure, improve and maintain the health of their data ecosystems

Strategic context
The Government Functional Standard GovS 005: Digital (005) includes the direction that organisations in scope of the Standard should regularly assess their data maturity against a set framework.
The Digital Functional Standard applies to the planning, development, delivery and management of digital, data and technology in government. Its goals are to:
- enable policy outcomes
- improve the usability and efficiency of public services
- improve the operating effectiveness of public organisations
