The Homes and Communities Agency is allocating a share of up to £25 million capital funding for specialist housing providers, on behalf of the Department of Health, to bring forward proposals for developing and improving hostel accommodation and facilities for the delivery of healthcare, training or education aimed at supporting rough sleepers, those at risk of sleeping rough, and other non-statutory homeless people of specialist housing to meet the needs of older people and adults with disabilities or mental health problems outside of London.

This programme was launched jointly alongside the Platform for Life fund in March 2015.
