Information on the government’s Long-Term Plan for Towns, which will provide long-term investment in 55 towns to be spent on local people’s priorities such as regenerating local high streets and town centres or securing public safety.

This content is no longer current. The Long-Term Plan for Towns programme was launched during the previous administration and is no longer in place.

It was confirmed at Autumn Budget 2024 that the Long-Term Plan for Towns will be retained and reformed as part of a wider regeneration programme. A new prospectus and associated documents will be published in due course.
