Modern slavery: inter-departmental ministerial group publications
Publications of the inter-departmental ministerial group (IDMG) on modern slavery in the UK.
The modern slavery IDMG, formerly known as the IDMG on human trafficking, is responsible for the coordination and oversight of modern slavery activity across the UK.
The group’s reports and statements of activity provide an update on the government’s approach to stopping modern slavery. The reports provide an assessment of trends as well as the UK’s response to a range of reports on efforts to counter the heinous crime of modern slavery.
The IDMG is the UK’s national rapporteur equivalent mechanism, under the EU Directive on Trafficking in Human Beings. It is obliged to produce reports or statements of activity on a regular basis.
